Building on Existing Stable Resources
GO College brings together existing resources within a community and facilitates a collaborative agenda between all partners working together towards student success and achievement.
GO College is an intensified model of the existing Talent Search program, one of the federally funded TRIO programs. The Talent Search program receives more than $140 million annually to serve students in grades 6 through 12 in over 450 communities across the United States. GO College builds on these existing Talent Search programs to prepare low-income, first-generation, and minority students for college access and success.
By building upon resources of Talent Search and other college access programs within communities, GO College creates an innovative, collaborative, and permanent approach towards preparing students to be college and career-ready.
